Terry Garahan

Terry Garahan gained national acclaim for his pioneering work uniting law enforcement and mental health, featured in the New York Times and 60 Minutes II. Beginning his career working in an orphanage, he later developed innovative programs for mental health patients and substance abuse treatment. He collaborated with law enforcement, becoming an FBI-trained Hostage Negotiator and co-founding negotiation and SWAT teams. He aided 9/11 survivors and educated at Ithaca College. Holding degrees from SUNY Brockport and Norfolk State University, Garahan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
